The term “reiki” comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” which means vital life force energy that flows through all living things.

Reiki is used in many cultures not just Japan but also Egypt, China and many others around the globe. You will find the word Ki or Qi links to many healing systems.

Reiki is a complementary health approach in which practitioners place their hand positions held for a few minutes over or on the body with slight of touch, this is called The Laying on of Hands. You are fully clothed and will be immersed in a peaceful relaxing state. Eyes closed, allowing the healing time to release stress, bringing about a sense of euphoric freedom to the mind, body and soul.
